Event Assistance Request Form

Please use this form to ask the Volunteer Trail Safety Patrol to supply volunteer staffing for your public event.

If the event is operated by the East Bay Regional Park District, the requester should be a District employee. If the event is to be operated by an outside organization on District lands under a permit from the District, the requester should be a representative of that outside organization.

Please supply as much information as possible. You must supply the requester's name and a day phone number in order to submit your form. The Submit and Reset buttons are at the bottom of the page.

If you would like a copy of what you are submitting, print this Web page after completing the form but before you press the Submit button.

Full public description of the event
(Please provide a sentence or paragraph of up to 60 words that publicizes your event. This information enables us to "sell" your event to our volunteers and also to the general public, who can see the listing of this event on our public Calendar. Example: "This annual festival features hikes, music, crafts, and informational booths. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy while listening to live music. Take the family for a wildflower walk, print up a tree shirt, and learn about native plants for your garden.")

VTSP volunteers can also be asked to bring and use Family Radio Service two-way radios, many of them have assigned Regional Parks two-way radios, and some are licensed amateur "ham" radio operators with their own handheld, mobile, or portable equipment.)
VTSP volunteers wear patrol uniform clothing tops while on duty as patrollers. Specify any different clothing requested.
Will rain or other bad-weather condition cancel the event? Yes No
If Yes, please explain. Include: who to contact, at what phone number, and at what time to ask whether the event is being canceled.
